He found fitness as an outlet and used it to completely transform not only his body, but his life as well. Michael went from alcoholic and drug addict over a decade ago to top 50 fittest man in the world in 2016. He’s since helped thousands of men and women transform their bodies through personalized fitness protocols and his best-selling book “The Sweet Potato Diet”, which sold over 100,000 copies.
He’s on a mission to help change as many lives as possible with his company FitScript, comprised of world-class functional medicine practitioners, male performance specialists, and expert coaches.

Chief Medical Officer
With close to 30 years of experience, Paul remains steadfast in his mission to equip people with the tools and knowledge to make well-informed choices that align precisely with their unique health and fitness needs.
Paul has served a wide range of individuals consisting of professional athletes, olympic athletes, professional boxers like Anthony Joshua, and everyone in between. His expertise consists of but is not limited to: anti-aging, personalized nutrition, male performance, disease prevention, and body recomposition.
Since 2014, he has hosted the “Paul Burgess Show” podcast, where he engages in enlightening conversations with leading experts, bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and practical health insights.
Paul runs a global telemedicine practice with patients in nearly every continent, and he strives to empower each FitScript client with the data and tools necessary to transform every aspect of their health and truly experience total human optimization.
NMD (Naturopathic Medical Doctor)
Dr. Jessica Folz is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor specializing in hormone optimization, peptide therapy and anti-aging medicine. Inspired by her own adolescent struggles with weight and hormone imbalances, she prides herself on being able to meet anyone where they’re at and completely transform their body.
Upon receiving her license to practice medicine in 2017 from the Sonoran University of Health Sciences, Dr. Jess was naturally called to help other men and women with hormone dysfunction, struggling to lose weight and in need of dietary guidance. She quickly developed a passion for metabolic health, peptides and anti-aging medicine, and obtained additional certifications in these fields from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Since then, Dr. Jess has worked with hundreds of current and aspiring husbands and fathers to optimize testosterone levels, reduce oxidative stress, improve mitochondrial function and establish simple yet sustainable routines for lifelong vitality.

Kimberly Verbeke is your go-to expert for holistic wellness and vitality. As a naturopathic practitioner, integrative health coach, and dedicated athlete, she is on a mission to empower you to reclaim your health and live life at the highest level.
She is a graduate from Trinity School of Natural Health and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and has over 8 years of one-on-one client experience. Kimberly specializes in creating personalized wellness plans that combine natural therapies, holistic health strategies and medical treatment when needed.
Whether you’re navigating toxicity issues or seeking to optimize your health as you age, she is committed to guiding you every step of the way. Kimberly started out in geriatrics which has fueled her passion for helping others focus on longevity. When she’s not in the clinic or expanding her knowledge, you’ll find her in the gym, outdoors, or enjoying quality time with her family and dogs.

Jayden is a dedicated Functional Medicine Practitioner committed to providing comprehensive and holistic care. Jayden began his career with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science, later advancing into Occupational Therapy. These disciplines honed his focus on enhancing clients’ functional capacity, naturally leading him to specialize in Functional Medicine and complete his studies at the Institute of Functional Medicine.
Since completing his studies, Jayden excels in developing personalized health plans tailored to individual needs, aiming to optimize each client’s health in every capacity. His proficiency in reviewing blood analyses enables him to identify the root causes of illnesses, address fundamental health issues, and formulate effective treatment strategies.

Functional Wellness
Premier wellness concierge, offers personalized integrative healthcare that transforms lifestyles and improves long-term outcomes. Helen holds a master’s degree in biomedical science and genetic and regenerative medicine, with a specialization in molecular and cellular immunology. She brings over 20 years of experience to her wellness coaching practice.
Today, Helen brings decades of experience to her work as an integrative health expert. She has always been passionate about referencing the most up-to-date science.
She guides her clients through various health-related concerns, using research-backed strategies to address root causes and heal clients from the inside out. Tailoring her techniques to each customer’s unique needs allows Helen to provide a range of bespoke wellness treatments. She has trained with many professionals worldwide and proudly mentored by Fitscript’s very own CMO Paul Burgess.
Helen’s integrative approach to wellness is disrupting the market, as many of her contemporaries focus on treating symptoms rather than root causes. Working with people from all walks of life, she offers programs that can aid with metabolic health rebalance and reset, thyroid optimization and detoxification, as well as reversing biological aging using peptides and bio regulators.
For Helen, wellness coaching is not just a profession; it’s a passion that drives her to create positive transformations for each client.
Physical Therapist
Dr. Britt Smith is a Board certified Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Masters in Clinical Anatomy and Physiology, and a Bachelors in Health Sciences. She attended the University of Delaware where she studied at the #1 Physical Therapy Program in the Nation. She has experience in outpatient sports/orthopedics and home health. Britt has also spent time during clinical rotations in additional orthopedic, sport specific, neurological/older adults, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She has gained knowledge and experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She also became certified in blood flow restriction therapy and learned how to combine manual techniques with personalized exercise prescription to achieve the best possible results for her patients.
Britt is a former collegiate athlete for LIU Post D2 Women’s lacrosse team, National Champions 2012. During her time there she earned accolades as first team all American, all region, all conference and defensive player of the year. She also played high school volleyball, cross country, and basketball. Currently she is a CrossFit and Aerial Arts enthusiast and continues to play recreational sports. Her past as a competitive athlete in high level settings fuels her compassion and diligence to her patients. Britt understands the physical, emotional, and mental importance of being able to participate in one’s activity of choice and has devoted her career to helping people achieve this.

With over two decades of hands-on experience in health and fitness, Chris has had the privilege of working personally with over 1,500 clients, while impacting over 100,000 lives through the programs, products, and services he’s developed for leading gyms and online brands.
Now at 42 years old, Chris has maintained a high level of fitness and health for 24 years, proving his commitment to the lifestyle he teaches. Having competed and won in NPC physique competitions, he understands firsthand the discipline and strategy it takes to create lasting change.
Chris’ coaching goes beyond typical fitness plans; the focus is on building sustainable habits, resilience, and a mindset that empowers clients to thrive despite life’s challenges. For Chris, health is the foundation of a fulfilling life, and he is dedicated to guiding others in reaching their highest self, so they can experience a life rich with energy, confidence, and purpose.
Coach
Chris is a native of Atlanta, GA and former division one baseball player at Georgia Southern University where he graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science. After struggling to find his passion after college for a few years, he started to take his fitness and personal development seriously, which led him to become a personal trainer in Smyrna, GA.
Chris moved to Scottsdale, AZ shortly after to open 3 F45 studios during the pandemic, and ended up moving to Denver, CO to open up 5 more. He has trained thousands of clients in group and 1-1 settings and has helped countless people change their lives through personalized coaching, health/fitness protocols, and dozens of challenges.

Coach & Community Manager
Sierra brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as a coach at Fitscript. After spending a decade working as a medical assistant, she developed a strong foundation in the medical field. This experience, coupled with her role as a caretaker in a family with various medical issues, fueled her passion for health and wellness.
Sierra holds a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Her professional approach is intuitive and empathetic, always prioritizing the needs and unique journeys of those she works with. She is dedicated to empowering individuals to crush their health and fitness goals, fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
Her personal interests include continually expanding her knowledge in health and fitness, and she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family for fun and relaxation. Sierra’s dedication to health and fitness, combined with her professional background and personal experiences, make her a valuable asset to the Fitscript team and the community she serves.
